Steel Spine Staircases can be referred to as central spine staircase, also sometimes referred to as a mono-stringer staircase.
Steel Spine Staircases increase the flow of natural light as the vertical space (referred to as a riser) between adjacent treads is always open, rather than being enclosed and the
centre spine is exposed.
